Visualization is the magical ritual of projecting unwelcome complexity onto conference room walls to soothe the masses. In reality, it conceals substance by channeling attention toward flashy colors and shapes, creating the illusion of progress. Participants nod in feigned comprehension, mistaking the illusion for true insight. All that remains are stacks of slides and wasted time. Visualization was invented not to clarify, but to camouflage ignorance.
