Anger is the domestic drama staged in one’s mind the moment one believes their dignity or expectations have been betrayed. Usually it’s merely one’s own internal thermometer running hot, yet it incites others and often escalates into full-blown conflagration. When left unchecked, thought turns to smoke and reason to ash. One feasts briefly on a sense of righteousness, only to be left later with the lingering hangover of self-loathing.
