Agency is the ornate banner of self-affirmation invented to save time spent checking others’ moods. Proclaimed as self-determination, it remains oblivious to the chains of societal expectations that bind it. The louder one shouts their will, the more they crave approval—an ironic contradiction wrapped in fine words. Wielded as a declaration of responsibility, it ultimately collapses into a device for deflecting blame.

Aseity is the spirit of loudly proclaiming you can do everything yourself, yet flaunting the right to refuse help when push comes to shove. It celebrates freedom from societal chains while being oblivious to the efforts and kindness of others. Under the banner of individualism, it serves as a carte blanche to involve others without taking responsibility, creating isolation and dependency simultaneously. It is the dissonant dance of self-reliance and reliance hand in hand.

Autonomy is the noble notion of carrying an inner watchdog that judges you more harshly than any external authority. While repelling outside interference, its demands on the self only escalate. The result is not freedom, but a meticulously ordered prison of one’s own making.

Ultimately, it serves as the most formidable shield for preserving the fragile glass castle of human connections.

Ethic of autonomy is the proud doctrine that proclaims the freedom to decide for oneself, yet craves only the validation of others. It lauds personal responsibility as a virtue, while insisting someone else must clean up its failures. It celebrates individual independence but wields exclusivity to eliminate others’ choices. Only loudly championing autonomy when it pleases, and vehemently opposing it when others exercise the same right.

Independence is the privilege of making decisions without leaning on others and yet having the skill to shoulder the fallout alone. It's the illusion of being freed from society’s chains, only to handle the cleanup solo. The willingness to swallow every demand in the name of "freedom" lies at its core.

It proclaims absolute sovereignty over one’s choices while secretly craving the applause of an approving audience. The concept shields its wielder from accountability by dispersing blame across society, like scoring an own goal in the name of autonomy. Heralded as a banner of freedom, it often masks the paradox of seeking validation through supposed independence. Ultimately, one stands as a triumphant monarch of self-rule, trembling at the whisper of dissent.
