#Awareness

awareness

Awareness is the gilded flourish of meeting culture, declared as if a problem has been grasped, yet nothing actually changes. The moment someone utters “I’m aware,” everyone feels magically absolved of responsibility, though actions never follow. In marketing, it becomes a magical metric that deems customers to have known a product, in reality amounting to wasted ad spend that no one remembers. A simple “acknowledged” stamp on an internal list shelves the issue, sending it off into oblivion. Paradoxically, the more unstable something is, the more it’s acknowledged; the more stable, the more it’s forgotten.

consciousness

Consciousness is the trap through which the self peeks at the world. It malfunctions relentlessly unless we sleep, and no one knows how to shut it down. It lures us into a maze called introspection, treating others' voices as mere noise. A jukebox of self-adoration and self-loathing on endless repeat. We are captivated by its clamor, all the while becoming its prisoners.

mental health awareness

The ritual of proclaiming concern for mental wellbeing with hashtags on social media. Trusting quiz apps over professionals while real help is perpetually postponed. Behaving as if a weekend yoga video can dissolve anxiety, only to be squeezed by Monday’s commute. Emerging as a buzzword that wraps everyday troubles in a line of poetry, offering a fleeting sense of relief.

sustainability literacy

Sustainability literacy is a ceremonial chant designed to taste the flavor of saving the planet without actually touching the dirt. Wielded as a corporate shield, it magically deflects responsibility while converting cluelessness into buzzword worship. In meetings, it sprinkles an aura of moral purity, only to be forgotten by sunrise like a broken promise. It sounds benevolent, yet functionally it’s a collection of sophistries that won’t stop anyone from tossing paper cups. At its essence, it is nothing more than a mirror revealing the gap between rhetoric and real action.
