On the stage of social media it lights the pyres of reason’s corpse, summoning outrage and ridicule in equal measure. It drifts between righteousness and apathy, brandishing the shield of "just kidding" as a get-out-of-jail-free card. A final weapon to mask the void of self-worth with the turmoil of others.

Sometimes hailed as the key to unlocking another's mind, but more often it serves merely as a shield for the ego. Sounds caring, but is actually a prelude to self-celebration.

Value conflict is a social sport where one waves personal morals like flags and treats another’s beliefs as enemy banners. It produces no winners, only mounting exhaustion. The more one asserts their righteousness, the narrower their view becomes, ultimately summoning a storm of indifference. In the end, the only honored trophy is “we talked and nothing was resolved.”

Verbal abuse is the art of wielding words like blades to cut into another’s heart. The victim, unprotected by any visible armor, absorbs the negative energy into their core. It lurks in casual conversation and social media posts, spreading as the cheapest, easiest form of power harassment. The abuser proclaims righteousness while the victim either laughs it off or falls silent, nursing invisible wounds.
