Crew refers to the curious participants of a social experiment who gather under the same banner while consuming each other’s personalities as fuel. The leader’s orders are worshipped as divine decrees, and rank-and-file members become masters at asserting their existence by erasing their own. The scene of contestants peeking each other’s fears under the banner of harmony resembles in-house squabbles staged for the sake of unity. The louder the collective cry for solidarity, the more easily real cooperation crumbles with a crash. In the end, everyone shares what is equally distributed: the unique bond of alienation, a bizarre fusion of love and resentment.
