End of life is the anteroom before the grand climax of life’s theater, where the lead searches blindly for a script. As resources named life dwindle, one is forced into a merciless waltz of pain and dignity. Medical staff do their utmost to earn the audience’s applause, yet no one can predict when the curtains will rise.
