#Empiricism

Empiricism is the attempt to confine all knowledge to the sensors of the five senses, treating imagination and reason as contraband. It sometimes overburdens the senses and ruthlessly discards the unmeasurable. Facts unspoken by perception are declared truth, and all debate is summarily dismissed. Scholars worship experiments and observations like sacred rites, trusting microscopes over lofty theories. Aversion to leaps of reason shackles thought to the evidence at one’s feet. At times, it serves as blind skepticism that sees only what it wishes to see.

Logical positivism is the playground of philosophers lazy enough to declare non-existent entities non-existent. It confines all meaning to what can be observed and verified, dismissing abstract questions more thoroughly than ever. Metaphysical anguish is thrown away as "meaningless verbiage," and reason is caged under the name of measurability. Theories become both lab rats and poison testers, forced to survive inside the cage or quietly vanish without troubling the authorities. In the end, it proclaims "Only what we can experience for certain is real," and that echo resounds alone.

Positivism is the dogma that worships observation as the sole oracle, consigning the unseen to oblivion. It sacrifices everything on the altar of data and numbers, branding intangible concepts as heresy. Yet, human values and affections that resist measurement are abandoned outside its confines. Celebrating the pursuit of truth, it paradoxically decays into idolatry of science itself. A sorrowful creed that deems only the visible worthy of existence.

Verificationism is the doctrine of dragging every grand claim to the interrogation chamber of observable evidence. It banishes metaphysics from the elegant stage of theory, smashing it under the harsh fluorescent lights of the laboratory. It substitutes the spell of words with cold instruments, freezing heated debates into statistical frost. By plucking away the feathers of imagination and declaring only the visible to be truth, it becomes a tyrant that crushes the tender sprouts of wisdom.
