Enthusiasm is the feeling of setting one’s own world ablaze without noticing when it catches fire. Often loudly proclaimed, yet too frequently it remains nothing but a show. In organizations it is heralded as a panacea, but in truth it is an obsolete prescription. Universally desired, but when unfollowed by results, it collapses into mere noise.

Passion is the fervent dance that sets one's inner kiln ablaze, only to roast oneself to ashes. Hailed as a beacon illuminating lofty ideals, in truth it functions as a smokescreen obscuring all vision. Claimed to be the force that moves others, its main ingredients are self-absorption and abdication of responsibility. Ultimately deprived of its fuel, passion collapses into mere ash, quietly fading into oblivion.

Zeal is a contraption filled with flowery words designed to conceal one’s own impotence. It transmutes trivial acts into grand missions, drifting endlessly between self-satisfaction and self-reproach. While proclaiming zeal louder than anyone, it often serves as an alibi for refusing genuine effort. Its ultimate fate is the twin wreckage of burnout and regret. Those who champion zeal most fervently are actually obsessed with preserving their façade.
