Branded as a search for deep self-understanding, it often devolves into criticizing others' beliefs to endlessly reaffirm one's own righteousness. Ironically, those who claim liberation from institutional constraints find themselves trapped in echo chambers of their own making.

Selah is the pretentious rest stop hidden in the ancient podcast called the Bible, a ritual brake to make worshipers taste their own insignificance. It performs a one-person show, staging divine majesty and human impatience simultaneously. It forces a deep inhale on its choir, sprinkling cosmic irony over the present moment.

Self-criticism is forbidden and treated as an RSVP for deeper blind faith. To secure the communal comfort, the flame of reason is willingly sacrificed. The comfort of occupying the pinnacle of faith reveals itself as a sumptuous mask, cleverly hiding the searing weight of unending responsibilities. Ultimately, seraphim illuminate the heavens not with warmth, but with the scorching spotlight of divine expectation.

A sermon is a ritual of words designed to extract repentance and obedience from its listeners. The louder one condemns others, the more desperately one conceals their own darkness. Its most potent punishment lies in forcing confession through one's own words. Today, someone somewhere remains shackled by the chains of guilt.
