Homophobia is the social performance of condemning another’s love under the guise of lofty virtue. It proudly rejects tolerance and mistakes ignorance for a moral high ground, a tragic comedy in action. Though it sparks endless debate, it often serves as a shield to hide one’s own insecurities. The spectacle of fear masquerading as righteousness is the purest form of irony.
