Aseity is the spirit of loudly proclaiming you can do everything yourself, yet flaunting the right to refuse help when push comes to shove. It celebrates freedom from societal chains while being oblivious to the efforts and kindness of others. Under the banner of individualism, it serves as a carte blanche to involve others without taking responsibility, creating isolation and dependency simultaneously. It is the dissonant dance of self-reliance and reliance hand in hand.

Autonomy is the act of proclaiming respect for one's own will while actually wandering in anticipation of others' approval. It comes with the privilege of invoking agency and then delegating final decision power to those around you. Celebrated as freedom, it functions as a get-out-of-jail-free card to blame others for any responsibility. At its core lies the option of 'being autonomous only when it's convenient,' indulging in irresponsible choice-making. Often, this capricious self-determination ends up wasting the efforts of others.

Independence is the privilege of making decisions without leaning on others and yet having the skill to shoulder the fallout alone. It's the illusion of being freed from society’s chains, only to handle the cleanup solo. The willingness to swallow every demand in the name of "freedom" lies at its core.
