Agency is the ornate banner of self-affirmation invented to save time spent checking others’ moods. Proclaimed as self-determination, it remains oblivious to the chains of societal expectations that bind it. The louder one shouts their will, the more they crave approval—an ironic contradiction wrapped in fine words. Wielded as a declaration of responsibility, it ultimately collapses into a device for deflecting blame.

Individuality is a magical incantation used to flaunt how different one is from others. The more one struggles to stand out, the more identical similar claims line up on this paradoxical altar. Corporations love this word, recycling it in uniform settings while proudly proclaiming "we respect you." On social media, templates called "your uniqueness" spread like wildfire, coloring everyone the same shade. In the end, a bizarre solidarity remains, where being an individual becomes a rule of the collective.

Personhood is the mocking mirror that blurs the boundary between self and other while denying its own infinite potential. It stars in the grand spectacle of social norms, viewing individual egos lovingly from within their gilded cages. Responding to the demand to prove its essence, it remains a poor sovereign begging for others' approval. Simultaneously everything and nothing, it is the kaleidoscope of self-awareness. Ultimately, personhood is but a hollow image reflected in the gaze of another.
