Flattering itself as the universal adhesive of systems, it masks a labyrinth of bugs and version traps beneath its sleek veneer. Few have truly mastered its grace; many have been reduced to tears by its capricious decrees, the hidden toll of progress.

CI/CD is the corporate ritual that proclaims development agility while actually celebrating endless build failures and rollbacks. Each successful pipeline run is met with automated fanfare, and when it breaks, the entire company freezes. Bugs are hailed as blessings that prepare the next stage, and test failures are lauded as evidence of progress. Ultimately, manual deployments become the most trusted strange loophole.

The consolidating stage is the grand ritual of reconciling non-negotiable quirks before anyone can safely say “we.” Outwardly hailed as a step toward harmony, in practice it’s a series of minor skirmishes over when to brush your teeth.
