Craving is the phenomenon that temporarily suspends reason and lets the voice of the heart race forward like a runaway train. Uttered, it sounds like a sweet invitation; unspoken, it spreads through the chest like poison. It often compels us to chase the mirage called satisfaction, only to find ourselves sinking in a quicksand of longing. Caught between survival instinct and self-control, it is the tyrant of the mind that masterfully pulls our strings.

Desire is the spotlight illuminating one’s own imperfection. Each time it is satisfied, a faint yet certain new flame of Desire ignites. Reason pretends not to notice this light, but it is Desire that whispers most fiercely in the darkness. Humans chase Desire to prove themselves, yet such proof remains an eternally incomplete thesis. In the end, Desire is the most unreliable navigator.

Longing is the spectacular frenzy of the heart intoxicated by an unreachable glow. It is a ritual of pouring passion into an idealized image while willfully ignoring one's own mediocrity. All too often, one trips gracefully between illusion and reality, returning home clutching battered fantasies. Those besotted with longing become irresponsible critics who endlessly romanticize someone else's life. The inevitable finale is always familiar: staring at the brochure and overlooking the joy right in front of them.
