feedback loop
A feedback loop is the infinite echo chamber of human relations, where words or actions you send out return amplified like a mirror on steroids. Compliment someone with political niceties, and they’ll compliment you back in kind, trapping you in a labyrinth of mutual praise. Both goodwill and criticism become amplified equally, and once initiated, the loop persists like a nightmare with no off switch. Practically speaking, it’s a two-edged tool capable of boosting self-esteem or propagating rumors with equal efficiency.
