Lymphoma is the unwanted uprising of lymph cells inside the body, staging protests as tumors that seize your organs without permission. Peaceful healthy cells are ignored while pain and anxiety recruit endless supporters. So-called treatments become rituals that produce casualties known as side effects and impose the grim resolve for a long war. The immune system, once the body's police, finds itself handcuffed by malignant forces, powerless to quell the rebellion.
