Idealism is the advanced art of self-deception that substitutes reality with mind-made ideals. It sanctifies insubstantial concepts while procrastinating any concrete action. It lauds living in a palace of fantasy and barring the door to reality. Dressed in the cloak of convictions, the thinker fights nothing but their own mirage.

The principle states that if two entities share all their features so completely that no distinguishing trait remains they must be the same entity — an academic loophole borne of philosophical pedantry. In practice it serves little purpose beyond fueling endless debates over whether two indistinguishable socks count as one. At its heart it is a domestic paradox generator offering existential comfort to those who panic at their own reflection. Scholars wield it as a tool to prove the nonexistence of true duplicates while everyday folk use it to justify never distinguishing between rubbish and treasure. Ultimately it remains a fanciful mental gymnastic twisting reality until it acknowledges only perfect indistinction.

Intelligent Design is an attempt to interpret natural phenomena through pseudo-scientific logic while conveniently withholding the identity of the all-knowing Designer. It proclaims itself the mediator between science and religion, offering an escape route from academic rigor. By equating complexity with a Designer, it boldly asserts a formula—yet remains mute on the question of who actually designed anything. Its built-in safety mechanism renders proof and falsification impossible, ensuring that all criticism forever drifts in the realm called ‘debate.’ Wavering between faith traditions and scientific institutions, it expertly swims the currents of curiosity and skepticism with a satirical flourish.

Metaphysics is the discipline of endlessly debating realms beyond observation and verification, only to end with no one convinced and a sigh by the desk. It claims to explore the essence of being and the origin of the universe by piling on infinite words and somehow returning to the starting point. The technical terms used along the way serve either as signposts into the jungle of concepts or as lost-and-found tags, depending on whom you ask. One sets out to pursue truth but unwittingly becomes immersed in the self-indulgent play, and before you know it, the number of raconteurs has grown while true philosophers remain scarce.

Nihilism is the pseudo-doctrine that gleefully dismantles every cherished value, all the while extolling the triumphant question 'Why live?'. Beliefs, paraded as pillars of meaning, collapse like sandcastles in the tide, leaving adherents clutching apathy as their salvation. It is an aesthetic spectacle of ruin, wherein one admires the wreckage yet ignores the void at one’s feet. A masterful art of denying all meaning while justifying daily inaction.

Nonduality is a mental alchemy that scoffs at all dualisms, erasing boundaries to dissolve everything into indistinction. Should you favor existence over nonexistence or subject over object, you instantly confess to living a mere illusion. The harder one strives to comprehend it, the more concepts evaporate, leaving one grasping at mist. You reading this may already be ensnared by nonduality’s own trap. The mirrored truth is the quaint dictum: “All is one, and one is all.”

Noumenon is the fanciful hypothesis of a 'truly real thing' existing beyond our cage of perception. Untouchable in practice, merely debating it becomes a badge of intellectual authority. By uttering it, one hides personal limitations and bathes in the illusion of superiority over others. As this concept squats on philosophers' desks as a refuge, it stands as the ultimate philosophical excuse.

Oneness is the illusory state where the boundary between self and other dissolves—so much so you might yearn to share someone else’s socks. It transcends all dualities yet leads to collective hypnosis as individual identity vanishes. Adorned with flowery language in spiritual manuals and marketed as team-building sorcery in corporate guides, it stands as the supreme ideal. Yet in practice it feels like taking a universal panacea that suddenly makes your neighbors frightening. In short, it's the paradox of merging everything into one and losing all definition at once.

Ontology is the academic carnival in which scholars debate the nature of being while conveniently forgetting to define existence. Mountains of jargon and concept maps fly overhead, only to leave a blank conclusion behind. Despite the heated arguments, its practical usefulness remains questionable. Yet funding pours in, propelling the quest for being deeper into an endless labyrinth.
