A migrant worker is a pilgrim who pledges their sweat in search of wages called hope, temporarily relinquishing the safe haven of home. They vend their labor in distant factories and construction sites, only to have their sweat discounted as an unrecorded sacrifice. Official statistics classify them as "labor movers," yet no one guarantees whether they reach economic security or social exile.
