Nihilism is the pseudo-doctrine that gleefully dismantles every cherished value, all the while extolling the triumphant question 'Why live?'. Beliefs, paraded as pillars of meaning, collapse like sandcastles in the tide, leaving adherents clutching apathy as their salvation. It is an aesthetic spectacle of ruin, wherein one admires the wreckage yet ignores the void at one’s feet. A masterful art of denying all meaning while justifying daily inaction.

Nothingness is the supreme art of denial, boldly proclaiming the absence of everything. Though it is hollow at its core, it is treated with such gravity that it paradoxically becomes the most concrete concept. Philosophers pursue it into a quagmire of empty abstractions while ordinary people drift on unaware of its void. Clerics celebrate it as boundless potential, scientists bemoan its unmeasurability, and politicians wield it as the perfect excuse to dodge responsibility. Like a blank canvas, its applications are infinite—or emphatically nonexistent.

Void gaze is the culminative ritual of idleness in which one, ridiculing the foolish heart that believes in any meaning, persists in staring into sheer emptiness. Casting aside all purpose and hope, one surrenders oneself to the pale void beyond—an extreme form of philosophical escape. It is an act of celebrating one’s own insignificance by remaining motionless and fixing one’s eyes on the abyss. Whether the void is solace or the loneliest darkness, that very question itself becomes the focus of the gaze.
