The ethics committee is a congregation of paperwork enthusiasts convened in the name of morality. They scrutinize the purity of research and proposals through a ballet of forms and red ink. They worship procedural rigor over truth, often stretching their raison d'être into an endless approval process. Once review commences, a mysterious ritual unfolds in the chamber, sealing the doors to tomorrow.

Extremism is the grandiose assertion that covers one’s insecurity and emptiness with hysterical slogans, trampling on others’ freedoms and social order. Bathed in a cocktail of fanatic fervor, it dissolves reason and reality alike, ultimately drowning in its own destructive impulse. Fake news is the modern alchemy wearing the mask of truth. It feeds on the fertilizer of reader anxiety and outrage, performing a first-rate spectacle. A blend of deliberate misdirection and unconscious shares that loses sight of facts. The safest defense is skepticism, yet that is the remedy most despised.

Family policy is a grand social experiment by which the government attempts to manipulate birth rates. Sweet slogans promise solutions to declining populations, while in reality it’s a game of statistics and budget proposals. Subsidies dangle like carrots only to be stingily disbursed, masterfully staging the gap between ideal and reality. Fascism is the gilded script that sings of national unity and order, while behind the curtain it locks individual freedom and critical thought in a dark theater. Charismatic speeches earn thunderous applause, yet any dissent is buried in silence. It brands neighbors as enemies in the name of patriotism and wields fear as a tool disguised as solidarity. A macabre dance that cracks the mask of democracy to reveal the shadow of dictatorship.

Feminism: the practice of proclaiming gender equality while stockpiling every excuse for imbalance. It’s a detective game spanning kitchens to boardrooms, unearthing hidden power structures. The self-appointed standard-bearers of equality craft new slogans with each critique, vying for catchphrase fame. They denounce wage gaps yet are trapped in an endless loop of debating new discrepancies. Ultimately it’s a one-person play before a mirror asking, “Equality for whom?”

A numerical spectacle that reduces the miracle of human birth to a statistic, whipping society into a euphoric panic whenever the line goes up or down. Parents become mere data points, while policymakers choreograph policies to satisfy the graph. It simultaneously sells hope for the future and fear of demographic collapse, then blames everyone but itself when numbers fall. Celebrations erupt at a modest rise, crises are declared at the slightest dip. In the end, it is just another tool wielded by those in power to feign concern over our most intimate choices.

Financial regulation is the net draped across the wild jungle known as the market. It promises to protect investors from the fangs of beasts while simultaneously shackling its own feet. Regulators pretend to curb risk while actually feeding both the economy’s vulnerabilities and bureaucratic egos. They present mountains of tedious paperwork to those who comply and mete out harsh penalties to those who do not, a duality that feels like a dark comedy. As a result, financial institutions dance in the ring of regulation, and market participants sweat at the thought of the stage ever collapsing.
