Progress reports are strange beverages brewed by diluting facts and adding hope, then consumed in meetings. Risk management is the study of appearing to tame monsters called risks, while secretly watching them multiply. In the end, the project manager loses control the most, doomed to wander the endless maze of stakeholder meetings.
