Claimed to guide, it often monopolizes interpretation and sows endless debate. Though styled as God’s voice, it functions more like a judge of human anxieties and ambitions. Far dearer as a mantle of authority than as practical fortune-telling literature.

Ordination appears as a solemn ceremony for receiving a divine calling, yet in reality it acts as a classing system that cements the hierarchy of the church. Participants vow devotion to God and simultaneously shoulder the eternal burden known as title. With every drop of holy oil, a strangely secular blend of pride and anxiety emerges. While the bells of prayer toll, donations and career ambitions are silently set in motion.

The Original Blessing is the nominal gift said to be bestowed the moment humanity hatches into the world. In truth, it is a grand ornament designed to glamorize the ceaseless agony that begins with the first cry.
