workshop
A workshop is a theatrical performance in which all participants are promised creativity and collaboration, only to have final decisions retained by the organizers. Attendees are encouraged to speak freely, yet are steered toward a prearranged conclusion. Amidst whiteboards, sticky notes, and coffee cups, earnestness and ennui coexist in a bizarre harmony. In the reflection round, one feigns deep self-examination while promptly forgetting what was actually gained.
