Meritocracy is the social doctrine of ranking individuals by their talents and extolling it under the guise of justice. Pride in partner is the beautiful incantation that dissolves individual responsibility through group camaraderie. Beneath the comfort of belonging lies the convenience of silencing dissent. One proclaims 'we share!' loudly while someone else quietly picks up the pieces.

Pro-environmental behavior is nothing more than a spectacle where one dons the cape of Earth’s savior for applause. Balancing a paper straw in hand while plotting the next online shopping spree. Discarding a plastic bottle into the recycling bin as your overflowing shopping cart heaves with packaging. Toggling your phone to energy-saving mode as you broadcast your moral high ground on social media. A ceremonial act of self-satisfaction masquerading as planetary care.

Resilience is the polished euphemism for facing crises, and paradoxically the magic incantation that erases all concrete plans when uttered in the boardroom. It is widely abused as an all-purpose buzzword, believed to dissolve hardship merely by its invocation. In reality, the only thing that actually gets strained is the weary staff. A role model is an idolized template worshipped in the name of self-improvement. Its polished image serves as a spotlight to highlight the mediocre surroundings, gradually becoming an unreachable stage prop. The more praise and imitation intensify, the further it drifts away, ultimately morphing into a beautiful excuse to justify one's own inertia.

Trust is the fleeting act of handing over your footing to another's whim. Sometimes hailed as an unbreakable bond, it can also be a mere prelude to exposure. It serves as the lone alibi for extending a defenseless hand when no one else claims responsibility. Those who earn trust become heroes; those who betray it become tragic villains in this ironic world.
