Under the banners of discovery and progress, dubious studies and PR campaigns expand faster than any space station. Flashy logos and cinematics take precedence over tangible results, and earthly problems are conveniently deferred to the void. In the end, the vision collapses into a cosmic joyride devoid of substance.
