Vocabulary expands in direct proportion to ecclesiastical rank, repackaging blunt critique as venerable "mystery." At academic conferences, it cites authority’s commentary to disperse any obligation of fresh inquiry. Its raison d'être lies in sanctifying the very act of questioning.
