internal alchemy

Internal alchemy is the labyrinth of the mind where one pours Qi into the human body as if it were an alchemical crucible, chasing the mirage of immortality. Practitioners build a tiny furnace in their lower abdomen, burning ephemeral faith into what they call mystical energy. Under the guise of practice they meditate and fast in endless repetition, only to realize it was merely a contest of endurance. The true secret, of course, always lies outside the furnace.

Taiji

Taiji is proclaimed as the origin of all things, yet in practice it serves mostly as a buzzword for endless philosophical banter. It wraps the cosmos in a neat circle of yin and yang, only to produce new excuses for human conflict. While supposedly a path to cosmic harmony, it functions more like an eternal loop of self-contradiction. Each attempt to grasp its truth ends in a tangled web of words, reminding us that sometimes abstractions simply abstract us from reality.

wu-wei

Wu-wei is the art of doing nothing while feigning transcendence, a form of self-indulgent enlightenment. It masquerades as profound serenity even as it shirks responsibility, serving as camouflage to earn the respect of onlookers. Mocking the busyness of the world, it amounts to little more than a pretext for evading real effort. Its tranquility blurs the line between sloth and wisdom in an exquisite performance art.

Wuji

Wuji is the endless fate of seeking a boundary while trapping oneself in infinite confinement. Those who chase an end are imprisoned in an endless cage. Claiming to transcend all, it in fact exalts pitch-black nothingness. Proclaiming to contain everything, it remains the empty incarnation that holds nothing.

yang

Yang is the embodiment of excessive self-assertion, driven by the fear of darkness and the compulsion to banish any shadow. To proclaim its own brilliance, it tramples upon the shadows of others without hesitation. Beneath its glare lies a cruelty that denies all that is dark. Ultimately, it is a tyrant of dualism, seeking dominance while forgetting balance.
