Temptation is the act of picking the lock on the fortress of reason and sampling the sweet lies peddled by pleasure merchants. Everyone at some point steps over their own moral line to savor a moment of forbidden delight. Often, a bill from the conscience and a souvenir of regret arrive later. Yet day after day, people keep reaching for that demonic gift called temptation.
