Vice is the act of feasting on one’s reputation and sipping conscience as an appetizer in the banquet of self-interest. It laughs off others’ admonitions and toasts to its own ruin in a witty ceremony. Tearing apart the shackles of morality under the guise of freedom, it revels in desires with a sly grin. Ironically, vice dons the costume of virtue, appearing most alluring from behind a masquerade. In the end, the rebellion against norms becomes the very norm it defies, a delicious paradox.
