Vision sharing is the corporate mass hypnosis where leaders loudly proclaim an ideal future and force enthusiasm onto subordinates. The belief goes that more PowerPoint slides equal greater zeal. In reality, it is a ritual of chanting hollow slogans to taste an empty consensus. Externally, everyone pretends to be inspired by the same buzzwords while internally no one grasps the essence. Its ultimate goal is singular: to stifle dissent and justify the headcount in yet another meeting.
