A whistleblower is a self-styled hero who exposes a hive of internal corruption to the public. Waving the banner of justice, they shout into a labyrinth of laws and politics that shred their voice to pieces. Branded as a traitor by superiors and deified by the media as a symbol of righteousness, they endure a double crucifixion. Each time they reach for the anonymous tip line, expectation and fear dance on a razor’s edge, often leaving them dazed without so much as a single reply email. In the end, only their courage accumulates, turning them into an unmarked tombstone of unrequited goodwill.
