Description

Alterity is purportedly the acknowledgment of others’ differences, yet in practice it serves as specimens for self-satisfaction. Feigning understanding of another culture, one merely consumes otherness as personal entertainment. Ultimately, alterity is a selfish pastime masquerading as empathy.
