Description
A motive-response triggered by the whip of deadlines and rewards assigned by others. The more proudly it’s touted in slogans, the less effective it is in real work hours, often becoming nothing more than ballast on PowerPoint slides. In theory it praises intrinsic acclaim, but in the end it cannot hide that true driving forces are promotions and bonuses. Paradoxically, those lauded for their high motivation often remain pitiful beings trapped in the cages of self-deception and external validation.
